This material protects the skin from the harmful effects of the sun by filtering out UV rays. To be exact, it filters out 98% of the UV that's blocked by UPF 50 material. This protection is tested (and approved) by our teams by measuring the rays before and after they pass through the fabric.

Water-repellentWaterproofWaterproof with sealed seamsThis fabric is given a water-repellent treatment so that the water drips right off: it'll help you stay dry if you're out in moderate rain, light rain or drizzle. At Aigle, each material is tested to check its water-repellency level. The score goes from 1 (not good enough) to 5 (perfect) and we don't accept anything below 4, except for environmentally safe treatments, in which case a 3 is okay. So there you have it!
