This fabric is given a water-repellent treatment so that the water drips right off: it'll help you stay dry if you're out in moderate rain, light rain or drizzle. At Aigle, each material is tested to check its water-repellency level. The score goes from 1 (not good enough) to 5 (perfect) and we don't accept anything below 4, except for environmentally safe treatments, in which case a 3 is okay. So there you have it! -

This piece is designed to keep the warmth in. Cold protection level: 2/3 Perfect for the coldest days, and negative temperatures.
Our essential short down jacket features a stand-up collar with retractable hood and matte-finish blended quilting. Water-repellent material: resistant to very light to moderate rain. REPREVE® recycled fibre insulation: lightweight and breathable.
